Take a break

If you are stressed and losing yourself take a break from all of the planning. Now if your wedding is a week away and you have deadlines to meet this may not be the time to take a few days off. In that case you may want to take a few hours to relax and have some ”YOU” time. On the other hand if your wedding is months away you should give yourself a week or two to relax with no planning what so ever. Enjoy time with your fiance without talking about the wedding. and rekindle that romance that may have been put aside because of the stress. Try taking a short trip out of town together and renew yourself as a whole and as a couple.

This might help you in the moment but in the end these foods will leave you feeling tired and can make stressful times worse. Not to mention cause you to gain weight before the wedding.  Try foods like fruits and vegetables that contain loads of vitamins and minerals. These foods will give you energy and help you cope with stressful areas that may come up in planning.

Get Help

Enlist the help of friends and family when you are stressing. They love you and would love to help with making decisions, running errands and planning. All you have to do is ask. Aside from that, if you need emotional support who better to talk to. They will be there to listen to your concern and reassure you that everything will be fine. Take a day to go to the spa with your girls. Between getting a massage and having laughs you are sure to feel better.

In the end don’t lose sight of what you are trying to accomplish. This is all leading up to one of the most important days of your life. You don’t want to lose it and fall apart at the finish line.  If you relax your mind and body and get help when you feel you need it then you will do just fine and have a day that will leave you proud and accomplished in the end.
